Lobby:
One of the salient features of "Mayura Residency" is its Lobby. The ancient paintings adorned the walls. The Italian type seating welcome one and everybody. The interior furnishing reassembles the ancient kingdoms of Kerala. The wooden furnishing is completely of imported wood. There is a deliberate feeling while entering the lobby. The lift is arranged in such a way that, one coming down in a lift steps right into the lobby.
Reception: A hotel without a good reception is like a man without a smile on his face. A pleasing receptionist is an added advantage for a reception. Mayura has a very wide reception with modern facilities. Here the staffs are ready to help us at any time with pleasing attitude. To serve us is their motto.
Deluxe Double Room: There is no much difference from super deluxe rooms. The rooms are totally furnished with imported materials. Lamps in the room add to the ambience of warmth. Double rooms with moderate fittings give a homely touch to the heart. The suit rooms with its color and furnishing combination give a warmth mood. All these rooms have a royal look
with granite flooring and exported tile walls. The doors are made of exported wood. The windows are indeed very large. All the rooms are centrally air-conditioned with Television (satellite channels) Refrigerator, 24 hrs running hot and cold water, 24 hrs room service, Telephone with direct dialing facilities and smoke detector.
Conference Hall (Theertham): The conference hall looks charming with its beautiful color combination.150 people can take part in the conference at a time. The hall is luxuriously arranged which recalls us the picture of traditional Durbar halls. It has a majestic look with royal furnishing. The conference hall is arranged with posh table and chairs. The furnishings and the prevailed lights totally give an outstanding look for Mayura Residency.
The Banquet hall is modestly arranged that it attracts one and all. Around 350-400 persons can be accommodated at a time. Grand Sadhya is provided for functions which's very much systematically served and traditionally prepared.
Nalinam: Small functions other than marriages can be conducted here. Seating is arranged for 500 people. The hall is modestly and systematically arranged. We can never feel the crowd because the hall is spacious
TheRestaurant: The restaurant is arranged in such a way, the exposure to sunlight and to some extend rains, Extra care is taken while serving the food. Taking into consideration food is prepared according to our custom and taste. To any extend one can try his taste in Mayura Residency. As the restaurant is arranged at the top of the residency one can admire the natural
beauty and feel the holy spirit of Guruvayoor On entering the Residency, one can have a wide shopping. There are different types of shops according to our choice.
VIPRestaurant(Vismayam): As you mean, it creates a sort of surprise in your mind as it is rare to see such a restaurant. one can experience a homely taste of food here. Even though the restaurant is luxury to see at, the price is affordable to one's pocket.

Trivandrum: Trivandrum International Airport is the first airport in KERALA. This airport is nearly 350Km from Guruvayoor.

Train Services: Regarding the railways daily there is a train from Guruvayoor to Madurai. This connects the two holy places. Above all there is a passenger train to Ernakulam, which runs three schedules a day.
Bus Services: All K.S.R.T.C. buses are connected to Guruvayoor. There is also frequent interstate service to this holy place. More over there is also private service to Guruvayoor till late night

 
Places to Visit
Guruvayoor Temple: Guruvayoor is 32Km away from Thrissur, connected by road and rail. It is one of the most important pilgrim center in India which is also known as the Dwaraka of the south. Guruvayoor is created by both guru and vayoo. The temple attracts thousands of pilgrims is said to prior to the 16th centaury. The Mammiyoor temple has even more longer history, and dates back well in time before the Guruvayoor temple.

Spot of Thrissur :

Peechi Dam: This dam is situated 23Km from Thrissur. the dam is well connected by bus service, it is a tourist spot with boating facilities. The area is also he Peechi Vazhani wild sanctuary. There is also a small Art Museum, which has a wild collection of wood carvings metal sculptures, Kathakali figures and ancient jewellery. The zoo is spread to 13.5 acres is unique in having a variety of fauna like the lion tailed macaque, sloth bear, spicies of birds and deer. The snake park has a reptilian collection of various snakes and reptiles.

Chalakudy: It is an important satellite town of Thrissur. Chalakudy boasts of many tourists spots. Some worthy spots are-

Anakkayam: About 20 Kms from Chalakudy on the sholayar peringalkuthu route, Anakkayam means the "Elephant pit". It is noted for a lake with cool and placid waters. The place is a forest untouched by human encroachments and is a haven for those who wish to escape from concrete jungles. It attracts the visitor with its bubbling streams, natural rock formations and flora. Athirampally and vazhachal East of Chalakudy, near the entrance to the sholayar forest ranges, are the beautiful waterfalls of Athirampally and Vazhachal,5Km apart. These waterfalls are a place of Scenic beauty, as water cascades from a height of 80 feet.

Palayoor Church: The Palayoor church on the Thrissur Guruvayoor road, it is said to be founded by St. Thomas and was also one of the first churches that introduced Christianity in India.

Chavakkad Beach: This beach is blessed with scenic beauty .Here we can the "Azhimokam" where the sea and river meet together.

Chettuva Backwaters: Chettuva is one of the growing tourist center. The boat services are very well arranged, that it is attracted by one and all. One can enjoy the scenery by having a boat drive through the backwaters
