The Cottages:
Each cottage is in typical Kerala traditional tribal style, no cottage is similar to the other. Thatched roof, floor with terracotta tiles, mud plastered walls decorated with wall paintings. The gentle breeze from the sea and the backwaters cools the room naturally. The huts are made on individual islands and certain cottages are made on coconut tree pillars. It's beautifully designed interior invites you to relax in comfort. The Village gives you a feeling of living in harmony with nature. Gaze at the moon and stars while cooling off in the backyard-bath, set in a different way. The Unique open-air bath-garden or open-Pont-bath, offers you the pleasure, in complete privacy. At dawn, from your bedroom you could gaze at a cluster of fishermen fishing in canoes in the traditional way or men diving deep to bring up basket loads of mussels whose meat goes to the kitchen and shells are burnt to make building lime. You can see the fish breeding, crabs crawling for prey or the prawns moving underneath or around your cottage.

Beach Games, Swimming, Fishing, Canoeing Rafting:
Enjoys a game of beach volley ball, take a dip in the sea, lagoon or backwaters and swim to get a first hand experience of the wonderful water world. The Beach is shallow and calm and is ideal for swimming and surfing. The backwaters are a combination of lakes, lagoons canals and estuaries. You can have the unique experience of catching fish, prawns, lobsters, crabs using the traditional fishing net set up within the resorts. Fishing rod and angling equipment can also be provided. Local boats with experienced fishermen could be hired. Deep sea fishing can be arranged. Boating, Canoeing and Rafting in the backwaters is a wonderful experience.

The Cuisine:
'Tharavadu' is the multi-cuisine eatery which serves a variety of delicacies to suit your taste. Coconut and fish abundantly available are staple ingredients in the delicacies served. 'Karimeen Pollichathu' (Pearl spot fish fried in coconut milk), Fleshly spicy Chemmeen (Prawns) curry, Konju (Lobster) Fry, Crab coconut Fry ... etc. are our specialties. You can net the fish of your choice from the 'Meenkulam' - (Fish Pond) and savor it freshly cooked in succulent spices along with other Kerala delicacies prepared in a traditional way in the ancestral Kerala Kitchen. The typical Kerala cuisine is sophisticated and is vegetarian served on banana leaves. Guests can have tender coconuts plucked from trees around and enjoy a refreshing drink.
